Biography

After receiving her master’s degree with a minor in radiation health physics, Kathryn Brock served as the Senior Health Physicist at the Radiation Center. She subsequently went to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission as a Health Physicist/Emergency Preparedness Specialist. She has held several positions with increasing responsibility at NRC in health physics, emergency preparedness, radioactive materials, and security. Presently she is the Branch Chief of the Research and Test Reactors group responsible for reactor licensing activities.
